The Old Course at St Andrews.
I’m not a golfer, swear. But you know what? Two days ago I competed in a tournament at The Old Course at St Andrews and I shot 76/69/69/68 in four consecutive “days” to win the tournament. Tiger Woods ‘09 on Wii is pretty awesome.

Break the silence; damn the dark, damn the light.
Sometimes you wait a really long time before talking about big moments in your life, and sometimes that works out to your advantage. Other times, not so much. This is a not so much for me, as all of my exhalation, elation, and appreciation of Goes Cube’s final show at Union Hall on June 5th has faded a bit over the past few weeks. Damn the silence.
I meant to post about it right away, but...

My Top Ten Favorite Whiskeys.

So, all this whiskey talk got me thinking that it might be fun to list out my Top Ten Favorite Whiskeys. Why?...

Tysonius Road Tips: #275 Bring a Sleeping Bag
Bring a sleeping bag, a pillow from home, and use them. This way you won’t have to climb inside of gross motel beds; but also, it’s something from home and will come to approximate “sleeping in your bed.”
Tysonius Road Tips: #62 Staying Awake
When driving late at night, I suggest three things to keep you awake: sunflower seeds, gum, and coffee. Coffee is obvious, the other two help keep your mouth active and in a strange way your mind too. As for coffee, believe it or not, gas station coffee can be your best bet for good/cheap coffee on the road as it’s replenished often. Just make sure to smell the half & half before using.
I've got a house, I don't even live there.
One week on the road is nothing. It’s a vacation, fun time… an escape from home and the usual routines. Two weeks on the road is where exhaustion starts to settle in and road routines are developed. The nomadic lifestyle becomes the norm, you can’t really catch up on sleep ever, and you’re often a zombie right up until show time. This is when you really start missing...
Tysonius Road Tips: #127 Gas Station Sandwiches
When you’re buying a gas station sandwich, go for their “Italian sandwich” as it’ll consist of cured meat. Use only mustard: no mayo. And be sure to remove the nasty lettuce before eating.
